Racing Club Ambassador – Tony Dobbin

We are delighted that Tony Dobbin has agreed to join us and become the ambassador for our new Racing Club.

Dobbs will be attending the races with our members, hosting social events and will be on hand during the Q&A sessions and stable visits we’ve got planned.

He’s one of the most well-respected and well-liked people in racing so his involvement will enhance the whole experience for our members.

Dobbs said: “I feel very privileged to be asked by Paul to help by being the ambassador for his new Racing Club venture.

“We go back a long way, he was a conditional when I was stable jockey at Nicky Richards all those years ago.

“It’s an exciting project and in L’Insurge I think he’s found a cracking horse to kick it off with.

“I’ve been watching him work regularly over the last few months, Paul is doing a great job bringing him along and he’ll give members a lot of fun.”

We’ll be officially launching the club soon and will be back in touch with more details about how to become a member and what the whole package delivers.

L’Insurge is coming along nicely and is on track to make his debut at the races before the end of next month.

Paul said: “I’m delighted Dobbs is coming on board because he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Racing Club.

“He’s someone our members will love spending time with and listening to either at the races or during the events we’ll be having.

“We’re hoping L’Insurge will be good to go by mid-December.

“He’s a 3-year-old so we’ll be targeting some juvenile bumpers and then going over hurdles with him.”

OKAVANGO DELTA (3.15) won really well at Musselburgh ten days ago and the manner of it suggested he’d get three miles.

CANNOCK PARK (12.25) is our sole runner at Kelso on Borders National Day, going back over hurdles after starting out novice chasing earlier in the season.

Carlisle

I was delighted with how our two horses ran at Musselburgh on Thursday. Although she didn’t win, in a funny way I was happiest with Aazza because she really looked like she wanted it again.

Musselburgh

We’re heading to Musselburgh tomorrow with two runners as they kick off their jumps season up in East Lothian.
