L’Insurge – Sedgefield

OUR Racing Club horse L’INSURGE will make his hurdles debut in the opener at Sedgefield this afternoon.

A talented 4-year-old, we are pitching him in against some older and more experienced horses after two encouraging spins in bumpers earlier this year. Today’s race will be a real education for L’Insurge, who has schooled well at home but will now be asked to show what he’s learned on the racecourse proper.

As always with horses trying something for the first time, the key is to give them an enjoyable experience and build up their confidence.

That will be our aim today and our hope is for a positive run with a view to building up his challenges in the weeks to come. L’Insurge has been back in work for a couple of months now after his summer break, but I still believe he will benefit from the run.

A horse we feel will really make his mark once he goes into handicaps, we’ll be opening the doors for new Paul Robson Racing Club members for season 2025-26 soon so please get in touch if you are interested in becoming involved with us here at Hazelrigg.
