Catterick

AAZZA (2.08) really pleased us with the way she came back to herself over hurdles at Musselburgh in late November, she raced with loads of enthusiasm again and it was her best effort for a while. We’ve not really found the ideal race for her since then so we’ve been patient and have decided to send her chasing again.

She’s run once over fences before so we’ve done a bit of schooling with her and she’s been really good, so we’re giving it another go. She feels and looks really well so we’re hoping she’ll run a big race.

What we’ll be doing with her, I’d imagine, is mix it up between hurdles and chasing if all goes to plan today. If she shows the same form as she did at Musselburgh then I’d like to think she’ll go close.

INOUE (3.58) runs from out of the handicap in the 0-100 two-mile hurdle. It’s fair to say he’s not shown us on the track what we see at home to date. He does everything right in his day-to-day work and looks really nice, but when it’s come to races he’s been really in and out.

Ed Austin knows him well so takes off 5lbs and we might switch up the tactics on him to see if that helps him get through the race better.
