Aazza

AAZZA (3.50) heads down to Southwell today looking to keep her good run of form going after winning at Wetherby last time out. We felt she’d taken a good step forward again there earlier in March finishing second and showed that was the case with her win on the next occasion.

The handicapper has put her up 5lbs for that but she’s in good shape at home, Craig will ride her again and we’re hoping she can be competitive once more.

We were delighted with Diamond Mix at Hexham on Monday, who jumped like a buck and showed real tenacity to get his first win on the board. He’s a horse we’ve always liked so it was good to see him put it all together to win for Colin Thomas and his family.

It’s great getting winners for them because they’re big supporters of our yard.

Sparky Tom also ran well in the bumper, just fading out of things later on in the race. He was never going to be a bumper horse, it was all about the experience for him so we’ll put him away now for a summer at grass before bringing him back in later in the year as one to look forward to.
