L’Insurge – Become Part Of His Journey

We’re thrilled to officially launch the Paul Robson Racing Club. Starting a racing club was something we had in mind from the moment we decided to make the move to Hazelrigg in the summer. Let the fun begin… 

In L’Insurge we think we’ve got the perfect horse for our members to kick off with. He’s a precocious three-year-old who has done everything right so far and is impressing us at home. 

Ryan Mania has been in to ride him several times and has been really impressed with how forward and ready to go he is. 

Ryan said: “I rode L’Insurge the first time I came into Paul’s and said straight away he was one of the nicest youngsters I’ve sat on. 

“He’s got a lovely way of going and for a three-year-old, he’s strong and forward. 

“He’s taking his training well and has everything in the right place. 

“Paul’s done a great job with him and I’ve no doubt he’s a really nice horse for the future. 

“He’s an exciting one for the Racing Club to start off with.” 

The plan is to get him started in a junior bumper in December then decide whether to run in a second bumper or go over hurdles with him. 

He’s jumped plenty at home so we know what he’s capable of, but with young horses at this stage of their careers it’s all about learning and development. 

That’s why we think L’Insurge is the perfect horse for the Racing Club because by getting involved with him you’ll see and be part of his journey every step of the way. 

We will shortly have a new members’ only section of our website up and running, where we’ll post regular updates, videos, trainer reports and race analysis features to keep everyone fully updated with everything he does. 

The aim of our Racing Club is to be as open and accessible as possible, so along with club ambassador Tony Dobbin we’ll be hosting exclusive stable visits for our members, plus Zoom meetings and Q&A sessions where you’ll get the opportunity to speak to Paul, Dobbs, our jockeys and staff. 

When the time comes for L’Insurge to run, our members will get the opportunity to apply for owners’ badges so you can enjoy every aspect of the racing experience. You’ll also collect your share of whatever prize money he wins. 

Our ethos is to make racing as accessible and, most importantly, fun as possible for our members and we’d love you to join us and be part of L’Insurge’s racing story.
